Stranger on the Shore

This photo was taken by Richard Harri, aka richardthekayaker at Karioitahi beach at sunset. Richard recalls the lady's joy to see such a beautiful picture of her silhouette upon her return to her vehicle in the car park. "I remember she was in tears. She pulled out her phone and scrolled through her camera roll showing picture after picture of selfies that were less than flattering. She said that is the most beautiful picture of me - it is so hard to get nice shots when you are a solo mum." Richard provided her with a copy of her image for her to keep forever.
